MaryJoe is The Charles Lane’s lead event coordinator and florist. With five years of experience, MaryJoe combines her artistic floral design skills with meticulous planning and management to produce beautiful, fun and classic events that represent her clientele’s visions and much more.

From corporate events to weddings, MaryJoe brings a wealth of experience. She attributes her professional expertise in design and management of events from years of studying and honing her skill set in design, event management, hospitality, fashion and styling. As a graduate of The College of Charleston, MaryJoe obtained dual Bachelor’s degrees in Hospitality and Business Administration, while interning with top wedding and event planning companies in Charleston.

With a keen interest in continuing her education and staying abreast with the latest event and floral trends, MaryJoe studies with florists from around the world, including the renowned Jane Packer School in London. MaryJoe’s sisters describe her as a talented, sweet, outgoing, creative and determined person. When she is not coordinating or flowering away at elegant events, you can catch her baking delicious desserts.

Angela Hilderbrand

Angela is the designer and an associate event planner for The Charles Lane. She is responsible for the overall design and creative approach for events. Angela is highly praised by clients for her excellent sense of style, straight-forward approach and ability to bring a classic, yet modern-chic direction to designs. Adept to the details and passionate about her artistry, Angela has an eye for detail and a love for the personal touches of each event she designs.

A graduate of the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising, Angela has more than 10 years of professional design experience from owning her own custom stationery company and working as a freelance graphic and interior designer. With an avid belief in creating timeless designs for her clientele, Angela brings a wealth of creative knowledge, inspiration and dedication to The Charles Lane. Angela’s sisters describe her as a creative, witty, detail-oriented, smart and nourishing person. When she is not designing memorable events, you can find her spending quality time with her husband and two children.

Luisa Mullis

Luisa serves as the project manager and associate event planner for The Charles Lane.  She is responsible for client relations, budget management and strategic project planning. She is dedicated to providing quality service to all of The Charles Lane’s clientele. Luisa’s upbeat attitude, stylish eye and passion for the details, gives her a unique edge as a planner and designer.

A graduate of Providence College, Luisa holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing with a minor in Finance.  In her current role as product development manager at United Promotions, Inc., Luisa manages all aspects of product design, optimization and production. With more than eight years of professional experience anda vast background in corporate marketing, advertising, project management and design, Luisa brings a wealth of expertise in developing and implementing creative strategies. She draws her design inspiration from a variety of sources — friends and family; reading romance novels; and trends in popular culture and fashion. Luisa’s sisters describe her as a disciplined, trendy, innovative, fun, social and caring person. When she is not managing memorable events, you can find her spending quality time with her husband and children.

Catalina Figueredo

Catalina is the marketing communications manager and associate event planner for The Charles Lane. She is responsible for managing all aspects of digital marketing and social media activities. Catalina also works closely with the team to design, plan and deliver meaningful events to clients. Catalina draws her design inspiration from her travels and experiences in numerous countries.

A graduate of American University with a Bachelor of Science in International Business, Catalina has worked with an array of Fortune 100 companies. In her current role as marketing director at United Promotions, Inc., Catalina is responsible for the global expansion and business-to-business marketing initiatives and programs. With over 10 years of marketing experience, Catalina is a vital asset to the team with her applied knowledge in strategic and creative planning and coordinating. Catalina’s sisters describe her as an intelligent, stylish, business savvy, articulate, creative and dependable person. When she is not planning memorable events, you can catch her jet-setting around the world.
